Two people die from lightning strike while on train roof in Narsingdi

A 43-year-old hotel worker named Sajib Sarkar and one other person died after being struck by lightning while traveling on the roof of the Upakul Express train in Ghorashal, Narsingdi, on Sunday, May 24, 2026. The incident occurred while they were traveling home for the Eid holiday.
