Arson and Looting of Gazi Tyres Factory in Rupganj

Following the change of government in August 2024, the Gazi Tyres factory and another Gazi Group facility in Rupganj, Narayanganj, were subjected to two rounds of attacks, looting, and arson. The incident resulted in the loss of employment for over 7,000 workers and the continued missing status of 182 individuals two years later.
