Contractor negligence halts road and bridge construction in Lama

Construction of the Kumari-Chakkata road and a new bridge in Lama, Bandarban, remains abandoned due to contractor negligence. The demolition of the original bridge without building a replacement has left thousands of residents, including students and emergency patients, stranded and reliant on a hazardous temporary bamboo bridge.
