Fire at a chemical warehouse in Siddhirganj
A fire broke out at a chemical warehouse in the Sanarpar area along the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj, on August 11, 2026. The fire, which originated from sparks produced by a grinding machine, involved paint and turpentine-based chemicals. The blaze was brought under control within an hour by three units of the Kanchpur Modern Fire Service. No casualties were reported.
