Body of a young man recovered from Padma River 20 hours after disappearance
A 35-year-old man named Rifat Hasan Raktim drowned in the Padma River in Ishwardi, Pabna, after falling from a boat during a storm on Friday afternoon. His body was recovered by a fire service diving team and naval police on Saturday afternoon, following a 20-hour search. Two other companions who jumped in to rescue him were saved by locals.
