Flood Situation Worsens in Northern Bangladesh Due to Teesta River Overflow

Heavy rainfall and upstream water flow from India have caused the Teesta River to exceed the danger mark at the Dalia point. This has resulted in the submersion of nearly 1,000 homes and left approximately 5,500 families waterlogged in Nilphamari and Lalmonirhat districts.
