Young man dies after accidental poisoning in Rangamati

Ringkon Barua (26), a garment worker from Mruungdong Para, Ward 6, Bangalhalia, Rajasthali, Rangamati, died at Chattogram Medical College Hospital on Thursday, June 18, 2026, after accidentally ingesting poison instead of alcohol at his home on Tuesday. He was initially treated at Chandraghona Christian Mission Hospital before being transferred due to his deteriorating condition.
