Severe and recurring riverbank erosion along the Teesta River in Kapasia Union, Gaibandha, has destroyed the homes of over 300 families and multiple public institutions, including schools and religious centers. The ongoing erosion has left displaced residents in critical conditions, with many schools now forced to conduct lessons in the open air.
