Electrocution of a tiles mason while working on a building in Kushtia

On September 18, 2026, a 24-year-old tiles mason named Sajid died of electrocution after coming into contact with an 11,000-volt power line while working on a building in Bheramara, Kushtia. His body remained suspended from the high-voltage wire for approximately one hour before being recovered by the Fire Service.
