Flood risk in four northern districts of Bangladesh

A flood forecast has been issued for the districts of Nilphamari, Lalmonirhat, Kurigram, and Rangpur due to rising water levels in the Teesta, Dharla, and Dudhkumar rivers caused by rainfall and upstream runoff. Low-lying areas are expected to face short-term flooding within 72 hours.
