Journalist of Amar Desh seriously injured after being hit by an army bus
On the morning of March 25, 2026, Md. Imran Hossain, a staff reporter for Amar Desh, was seriously injured after being struck by an army bus while crossing the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Gazipur. He was treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he underwent an operation in the burn unit.
