Forest official severely injured after being run over by sand-laden truck

On January 15, 2025, Range Assistant Forest Officer Tarikur Rahman was severely injured during a forest department operation in the Koylajhiltoli area of Karerhat, Mirsharai, when he was deliberately struck by an illegally mined sand-laden truck. The victim suffered a fractured femur and has faced prolonged medical complications, while the identified suspects are currently released on bail.
