Journalist's son dies after drowning in Matamuhuri River

A 13-year-old boy named Nure Elahi Nadim, son of journalist Oli Ullah Roni, died after drowning in the Matamuhuri River in Chakaria, Cox's Bazar, on Friday morning. The incident occurred while he was crossing the river on foot, where he got trapped in a deep spot and went missing. He was later rescued by locals and taken to the Upazila Health Complex, where he was declared dead by doctors.
