Waterlogging in Meghna chars of Raipur destroys crops

Continuous heavy rainfall and rising water levels of the Meghna River have submerged approximately 850 hectares of agricultural land, including Aman seedbeds, vegetable plots, and betel leaf fields, in the char areas of Raipur, Lakshmipur. Ten villages across four unions are affected, with reports of flooded roads, markets, and local institutions.
