Embankment collapse in Saghata puts 250 families at risk of erosion

A segment of the Jamuna riverbank protection embankment in Gobindpur, Saghata, Gaibandha, collapsed due to intense water pressure. The failure of this recently constructed infrastructure has left approximately 250 families in fear of displacement, with residents alleging poor construction quality by the contractor.
