Two killed in collision on Bhanga-Mawa highway near Atadi Flyover

On the morning of May 18, 2026, a fatal collision occurred between a fish-laden truck and a slow-moving tree-laden truck on the Atadi flyover of the Dhaka-Bhanga Expressway near the Bogail Toll Plaza in Bhanga, Faridpur. Two people, identified as the driver, Md. Shamim, and his helper, died at the scene. Highway Police recovered the bodies and seized the vehicles involved.
