State Minister for Water Resources inspects flood and riverbank erosion-affected areas in Manikganj

On May 17, 2026, the State Minister for Water Resources, Farhad Hossain Azad, visited flood and riverbank erosion-affected areas in Manikganj district. He assessed the damage to homes, agricultural lands, and infrastructure, ordered immediate geo-bag and block dumping to control erosion, and initiated planning for sustainable long-term protection projects.
