Fatal Gas Leak Explosion in a Residential Apartment in North Bhuigarh Giridhara, Fatullah, Narayanganj
On May 10, 2026, a gas leakage explosion occurred in a residential building in the North Bhuigarh Giridhara area of Fatullah, Narayanganj, caused by a leak from a Titas gas line. Although the leak had been reported to the building owner and caretaker, no action was taken. The incident tragically resulted in the death of all five members of the same family, who succumbed to their severe burn injuries at the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute between May 11 and May 15, 2026. The victims were buried in their home village in Bauphal, Patuakhali.
