Bangladeshi youth Tara Mia killed in BSF firing at Kulaura, Moulvibazar border and body returned
On the night of August 8-9, 2026, 19-20 year old Bangladeshi youth Tara Mia was killed by BSF gunfire while crossing the border in the Maguruli/Muraichhara/Shikaria area of Kulaura, Moulvibazar. Following legal procedures and a flag meeting between BSF and BGB, the body was officially handed over to the Kulaura police and his family at the Chatlapur checkpost.
