Prolonged waterlogging in Abhaynagar leaves over 300 families stranded; aid provided

Over 300 families across Chengutia, Urotola, and Mahajerpara villages in Prembag Union, Abhaynagar, Jashore, have been waterlogged for two months due to blocked drainage from Jashore EPZ construction and heavy rainfall. The condition has caused severe health issues, including skin diseases, and food shortages. Local administration provided food assistance to 200 families on July 10, 2026.
