A father and his son died when their motorcycle collided with a parked truck on the Habiganj-Nasratpur/Shaistaganj Bypass in the Poddarbari area of Habiganj on May 16, 2026, at 11:00 PM. Both victims were declared dead at the hospital. Following the incident, local residents set fire to the truck, which was subsequently extinguished by the Fire Service; police also recovered the bodies.
