Riverbank erosion threatens over a hundred homesteads in Jamalganj

Riverbank erosion along the Surma River is severely impacting Kamdharpur village in Phenarbak Union, Jamalganj, Sunamganj. Over 100 households and the local market, including 65 shops and a mosque, are at risk of being lost to the river, with many families already having lost their homes in recent years.
