BGB and local residents block BSF push-in attempt; BSF eventually retrieves seven individuals at Tetulbaria border

On the morning of June 6, 2026, BGB and local villagers in Tetulbaria, Gangni, Meherpur, successfully blocked an attempt by the BSF to push seven individuals (comprising two families) into Bangladesh. The group remained stranded overnight at the border before being retrieved by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) by 3:00 AM on June 7, 2026.
