A 34-year-old Bangladeshi woman was rescued from a scam center in Cambodia after being trafficked under the guise of high-paying computer work. She escaped on May 20, 2026, contacted the Expatriates' Welfare Minister for help, and is currently undergoing repatriation procedures via the Bangkok embassy.
