Fire incident in Narayanganj leads to the death of a garment worker couple

A garment worker couple, Khokon Sarkar and his wife Fazilat Begum, died following a fire caused by a gas leak at their rented house in Muradpur, Narayanganj, on August 7, 2026. Both were treated for severe burns at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery before passing away.
