Use of RAB Helicopters with Firearms to Suppress Protests in Dhaka

During the July 2024 uprising, RAB helicopters were deployed over Dhaka from July 19 to 21 to suppress protesters. Investigations by the International Crimes Tribunal confirmed the use of SMGs, shotguns, gas guns, and sound grenades from these helicopters, resulting in civilian casualties.
