Hafez Maulana Amirul Islam Faruki (45) died in a road accident on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in the Wireless area of Mirsharai, Chattogram, on Friday, April 24, 2026. He was struck by a drum/dump truck while riding a motorcycle after leading Friday prayers. The body was recovered by the Zorarganj Highway Police, and legal proceedings are underway.
