Severe Riverbank Erosion in Alom Khan Kandi, Jajira, Shariatpur Threatens Local School and Residents

Severe riverbank erosion along the Padma River in Alom Khan Kandi, Jajira, Shariatpur, has caused significant land loss. Over 300 families have been displaced in the last two months, while approximately 400 families remain at risk. The erosion has reached the grounds of Altaf Hossain Khan Government Primary School, prompting relocation plans by the Upazila administration.
