250 homes and 8 schools destroyed by riverbank erosion in Gaibandha

Severe riverbank erosion by the Teesta, Jamuna, and Brahmaputra rivers in Gaibandha has destroyed 250 homes in Sundarganj and 8 government primary schools across char areas. Over 2,000 students are facing educational disruptions, with classes being conducted in the open, while 6 additional schools remain at risk.
