Flood situation in northeastern region worsening

The flood situation in northern and northeastern Bangladesh is deteriorating due to heavy rainfall and hill torrents. River water levels have exceeded danger limits at four points in Sylhet, Sunamganj, and Netrokona, with approximately 16 districts identified as being at high risk of flooding within the next 24 to 72 hours.
