A group of 17 individuals—including 6 men, 6 women, and 5 children—was subjected to an illegal push-in attempt by the BSF at the Hapania border in Sapahar, Naogaon. Following a 19-hour standoff and the firm intervention of the BGB, the BSF was forced to retreat and take the individuals back into Indian territory. During the ordeal, the group was stranded in no man's land facing a severe humanitarian crisis without access to food or water.
