Structural failure and collapse of bridge guide wall on Shrimanta River, Patuakhali

The guide wall and support pillars of the under-construction Kathaltali-Rampur bridge over the Shrimanta River in Mirzaganj, Patuakhali, have cracked and collapsed. Locals have alleged that poor quality materials were used in the construction, and the contractor is attempting to patch the damage with sandbags rather than performing proper repairs, raising safety concerns.
