Assistant Town Sub-Inspector killed by truck while on duty in Sirajganj

Assistant Town Sub-Inspector (ATSI) Nurul Islam was killed after being struck by a recklessly driven truck on the Jamuna Bridge West link road in Sirajganj Sadar on June 16, 2026. The incident occurred while the officer was on duty during a high-speed competition between two trucks. One truck driver was injured and has since been detained by police.
