Industrial Oxygen Misrepresented as Medical Oxygen Found in Chattogram

On May 18, the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection and the Directorate General of Drug Administration raided SB Enterprise in the Lake City area of Akbar Shah, Chattogram. The investigation revealed the facility was supplying industrial oxygen, which poses severe health risks such as lung damage and infections, to two local hospitals by mislabeling it as medical oxygen. The facility was fined 100,000 BDT.
