Youth died of electrocution in a lemon garden in Srimangal

Sunil Santal, a 35-year-old laborer, died from electrocution in a lemon garden in Radhanagar, Srimangal, near the Grand Sultan Tea Resort, Moulvibazar, on the morning of May 25, 2026. The victim was cutting grass in the garden, which had been surrounded by lethal electric wires installed by the leaseholder to deter wild boars without public warning.
