Ongoing riverbank erosion at Baruha village in Kishoreganj

Persistent erosion of the Narsunda River in Baruha village of Digdair Union, Tarail, has led to the displacement of at least 50 families. Local residents face constant psychological distress and severe economic loss due to the destruction of agricultural land and homes, with no permanent protection measures implemented by the Water Development Board.
