Mother and son killed by train at Narsingdi Railway Station

A 27-year-old mother and her young son (identified as Safwan, also known as Hasen) were struck and killed by the Cox's Bazar Express train while crossing the tracks at Narsingdi Railway Station on the evening of May 27, 2026. The family, from Shibpur upazila, was returning home after Eid shopping.
