Ongoing Illegal Push-in Attempts at Bangladesh-India Border

Since May 2026, there has been a systematic attempt by the Indian BSF to push people into Bangladesh, leading to high-level BGB-BSF meetings. The Bangladesh government has deployed 60,000 BGB and Ansar personnel across 26 border districts to prevent these forced entries.
