8 DB members injured in a road accident while on a mission

A microbus carrying 8 Detective Branch (DB) police members collided with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in the Varera Bazar area of Sribordi, Sherpur, on June 24, 2026. The vehicle fell into a roadside ditch due to road congestion caused by ongoing construction work, resulting in the injury of all 8 officers who were then hospitalized.
