Threat of embankment erosion in Maheshkhali coast, Matarbari

Embankments in the Sairar Dail area of Matarbari Union, Maheshkhali, are at high risk of collapse due to recent heavy rainfall and intense tidal pressure. Local residents fear that a breach would cause extensive damage to residential properties, agricultural lands, salt fields, and aquaculture farms. Reports indicate that parts of the structure have already sustained damage.
