Family still searching for Hridoy, shot by police on August 5

On August 5, 2024, 21-year-old Md. Hridoy was shot by police in front of Sharif General Hospital in Konabari, Gazipur. Forensic analysis of video footage confirmed the shooting, and while investigations and search operations in the Turag River have been conducted, Hridoy's remains have not been recovered.
