Illegal Slaughter and Sale of Horse Meat in Purbachal, 20 Horses Rescued

A fraud ring was discovered in the Purbachal area (Narayanganj) where horse meat was being processed and sold as beef. A joint operation by RAB and police resulted in the discovery of the site in Sector 10 (Hararbari), where 9 horses were found slaughtered and 11 were rescued alive, preventing the tainted meat from reaching consumers.
