Seven days of continuous heavy rainfall in Lama Upazila, Bandarban, triggered flash floods and landslides, resulting in significant infrastructure damage, including a bridge collapse over Dholu Khal that isolated six villages. Following this, Muslim Aid UK and Caritas Bangladesh provided emergency food relief to 400 affected families in Lama. The disasters caused widespread unemployment and food shortages across seven unions and one municipality.
