Two children electrocuted while playing on a balcony in Chandpur, sent to Dhaka
Two children were critically injured after coming into contact with a 33,000-volt power line while playing on the balcony of a fifth-floor apartment in Chandpur's New Truck Road area on October 3, 2026. Both victims, aged 4 and 6, sustained severe burns and were transferred to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.
