Son dies after being struck by lightning in front of his father in the field

A 40-year-old man named Gopal Hossain died after being struck by lightning while working in a paddy field with his father in Bhatpail Nayapara Nandi village, Phulbari, Dinajpur. His father, Mokhleshar Rahman, was injured in the incident and has been hospitalized at Dinajpur Medical College Hospital.
