Water Crisis in Pirojpur Municipality

Over 200,000 residents of Pirojpur Municipality are suffering from a chronic potable water shortage. The existing water treatment plant, built 43 years ago, is unable to meet the increased demand of 10,000 customers as water sources have dried up, leaving most of the population without regular water supply.
