National Emergency Measles-Rubella Vaccination Campaign and Nationwide Outbreak Response

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare launched a nationwide emergency Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign on April 20, 2026, to address a declared national disaster caused by a measles outbreak and previous immunization gaps. The program aims to immunize 18 million children aged 6 to 59 months across 18 districts, 30 upazilas, and various city corporations. As of April 21, 2026, approximately 2.65 million children have been vaccinated.
