Two children died by drowning in Namarchar Bill, Raypura, Narsingdi
On July 17, 2026, two school-going cousins, Nipa (7) and Jannati (8), died by drowning in the Namarchar Bill (stagnant water in a field) at Bheluarchar village, Srinagar Union, Raypura, Narsingdi, while bathing. After being recovered by locals, they were declared dead upon arrival at the Raipura Upazila Health Complex.
