Bamboo bridge collapse at Kumudini Hospital Ghat disrupts connectivity for 35 villages

A bamboo bridge over the Louhajang River at the Kumudini Hospital Ghat in Mirzapur, Tangail, collapsed on Sunday morning due to strong tidal currents and water hyacinth pressure. The incident severed the main link for 35 villages in the southern part of the upazila, forcing residents to take a three-kilometer detour to access hospital and market facilities.
