Chittagong University student Sajid Shahriar Sanam drowns in Karnaphuli River, Kaptai
Sajid Shahriar Sanam, a 24-year-old final-year Computer Science and Engineering student at Chittagong University, drowned in the Karnaphuli River at Sitaghat/Sitapahar, Kaptai, while visiting with friends. Initially reported missing after being swept away by the river current, his body was later recovered after a joint operation by the Navy, Fire Service and Civil Defence, and local police.
